I recently had the pleasure of staying at Mendip Edge Retreat, and let me tell you, it exceeded my expectations! Nestled in the picturesque Farrington Gurney, this cozy spot was just a short walk from a local inn and the Co-op, making it super convenient for quick snacks and local brews. Our host, Tracey, was an absolute gem—she filled us in on charming local gems and made us feel right at home. The accommodation was impeccably clean and snug, featuring a comfy bed that practically hugged you back after a long day of exploring the nearby countryside. We loved the serene views overlooking the fields—perfect for our morning coffee on the terrace. Plus, having our own private entrance and kitchen was a delightful touch that let us whip up a quick breakfast before heading out to explore Bath and just beyond! I highly recommend Mendip Edge Retreat for anyone looking for a relaxing escape with easy access to beautiful walks and local attractions. I can’t wait to return!
