I recently had the pleasure of staying at Mendip Edge Retreat, and let me tell you, it exceeded my expectations! Nestled in the picturesque Farrington Gurney, this cozy spot was just a short walk from a local inn and the Co-op, making it super convenient for quick snacks and local brews. Our host, Tracey, was an absolute gem-she filled us in on charming local gems and made us feel right at home. The accommodation was impeccably clean and snug, featuring a comfy bed that practically hugged you back after a long day of exploring the nearby countryside. We loved the serene views overlooking the fields-perfect for our morning coffee on the terrace. Plus, having our own private entrance and kitchen was a delightful touch that let us whip up a quick breakfast before heading out to explore Bath and just beyond! I highly recommend Mendip Edge Retreat for anyone looking for a relaxing escape with easy access to beautiful walks and local attractions. I can't wait to return!
